A Panel: Going The Extra Mile
The Wilder Side of Small Business: Going The Extra Mile
📍 Green Olive, Squamish
✨ Monday, May 4 | 6:30PM – 9:30PM
This is the third event in our panel series - bringing together a lineup of bold, brilliant humans for a raw, real, and unfiltered conversation about what it actually takes to build a small business.
This month’s theme: Going The Extra Mile.
Because in 2026, if we’re not doing exactly that for our customers - someone else will.
For the first time ever, we’re also opening the room to men. Our panel will feature both male and female voices, because there’s no single “right” way to do business - and the most meaningful conversations happen when all perspectives are welcome.
While this series is designed with business owners in mind, it’s open to everyone.
Come if you’re building something.
Come if you want to build something.
Or come for a night of inspiration, connection, and a little fun - with nibbles and a selection of drinks.
You don’t need a business to be here - just a curiosity for people, service, and what it means to truly care.
Dress Code: Classic Confidence
Effortless, intentional, and slightly elevated. Wear something that feels like you at your most self-assured.
This isn’t a dinner event - but you’ll leave full in a different way.
Our goal: open conversation, shared perspective, and a reminder that even across different industries, the way we care for people often looks the same.
Your panel:
Jenna Franze is a beloved Squamish local and a top 1% Greater Vancouver Realtor with a background in corporate sales, known for her integrity, results-driven approach, and exceptional client care. Her consistent success and reputation for going above and beyond make her a natural fit to speak on elevating customer service and truly going the extra mile.
Stuart Ballard is the owner-operator of House of Lager, a brewery, restaurant and event venue soon to celebrate its first anniversary in Squamish. With a background in finance and business, he blends that experience with his passion for hospitality in his role as General Manager at the Oceanfront venue.
Lizzie Jones is Director of Marketing and Strategy at Turquoise Holidays, a luxury travel company known for exceptional, personal service. In a competitive space, going above and beyond to create memorable experiences is at the heart of the brand. Her belief in going the extra mile runs through both her professional and personal life, where it’s the little details that matter the most.

Founder of Dine Wilder, professional hype woman and your guide for a raw, real, wildly inspiring conversation.
